見どころ
Encounter the extraordinary union of classical history and natural beauty on a guided exploration of Pamukkale and Hierapolis. Set above the gleaming travertine terraces, Hierapolis flourished as a celebrated spa city during the Hellenistic and Roman periods, shaped by the mineral-rich thermal springs that still flow through the landscape today. Walk among its evocative ruins and admire the beautifully restored ancient theatre, whose elegant architecture reflects the grandeur and technical mastery of the Roman world. Continue to Pamukkale’s luminous white terraces, where cascading thermal waters have sculpted a dreamlike landscape of mineral pools and delicate formations. For an additional fee, you may bathe in Cleopatra’s Ancient Pool, surrounded by warm spring water and submerged marble columns. Blending archaeology, thermal heritage, and striking scenery, this experience reveals one of Türkiye’s most distinctive cultural landscapes.

About Pamukkale
Pamukkale is a hillside of dazzling white travertine terraces in western Turkey, topped by the ruins of the Roman spa city of Hierapolis.
Pamukkale, meaning cotton castle in Turkish, is a long slope of white travertine terraces and shallow pools, formed by mineral-rich hot water running down the hillside. At the top lie the ruins of Hierapolis, a Greek and Roman spa city founded in the second century BC, and together they form a UNESCO World Heritage site. Warm spring water still fills the pools.
