1. It is the first civil garden in Batumi. Construction of the park began in 1881, in the south-eastern part of Lake Nuri-Geli. From 1885,. Known as the Stone Ashkenazi Synagogue, it blends European architectural style of the early 20th century with Georgian elements. Visitors admire its decorated wooden door, symmetrical round and oval windows, and elegant ironwork.

Batumi is Georgia's Black Sea resort, a subtropical port of pebble beaches, modern towers, a botanical garden and an old town of cafés.

Batumi lies on the Black Sea near the Turkish border, backed by green mountains that catch plenty of rain, giving the city a subtropical climate with palms and citrus. A long seafront boulevard of parks and fountains runs along the pebble beach, with the Alphabet Tower, the moving Ali and Nino statue and modern hotel towers.
