Rute

  1. Diyaluma Falls is situated in Koslanda in the Badulla district. It is the third highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and the 361st highest waterfall in the world, standing at a height of 171 meters. The falls are formed by a tributary of the Kirindi Oya. It is a very steep fall surrounded by wildlife, flora and fauna. Diyaluma Fall has different levels and natural pools at the top of it. You need to be fit to hike the falls and to view and be a part of this amazing creation of nature. The first part of the waterfall has many natural pools where you can take a swim. Moving further on from here you will come across another drop of the waterfall with natural pools. However, it is better to be extra cautious over here. This is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sri Lanka and is a must visit place.

  2. This Ravana Fall (proper) is 25 meters high and flows from the Bandarawela Hill Oya Reservoir. During the dry season this almost dries up but during the rains flows at full force. Therefore the best time to visit this falls is during the rainy season or just after.

    2 t

  3. The fall on the top is the most beauty full fall with blue water and shallow ends. During the rainy season, the waterfall is at its best and as beautiful as a snow queen

About Yala National Park

Yala is Sri Lanka's most visited wildlife park, a dry-zone reserve of scrub, lagoons and rock on the south-east coast, famous for leopards and elephants.

Yala National Park covers a large area of the south-east coast of Sri Lanka, a mix of dry scrub forest, grassland, lagoons, rocky outcrops and sand dunes beside the Indian Ocean. It was set aside as a wildlife sanctuary in 1900 and became a national park in 1938, and it is divided into blocks, of which Block 1 is the most visited. Tissamaharama, a town on a large lake, is the usual base.
