  • 5An absolutely wonderful and unforgettable experience

What an amazing experience from start to finish, petar, our guide picked us up from our hotel, and took us on a fantastic tour through the beautiful hills of Montenegro, visiting some churches and a nunnery along the way. The real highlight was being welcomed into Rajko home, a lovely man who lives in his family’s 250 year history home, he grows his own veggies and grapes and makes wine. We had a delicious meal with a lot of his homegrown produce, some local cured meats and cheese, and quite a lot of his wine … he is very hospitable. It was such a special evening, full of laughter , great company and a real taste of Montenegrin life and culture. We felt so welcome, it was so much more than just a sightseeing tour. One of those experiences that will stay with us for a long time, and a real highlight of our holiday, we couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you Petar and Rajko for a memorable time.

  • 5Highlight of Our Trip

We thought we were signing up for a tour of the hills behind Budva. We ended up with fascinating monastery history, a meal we’re still talking about, and so many laughs that our cheeks hurt. Petar was a wonderful guide—full of stories and generous with his time. Then Rajko welcomed us into his home for an incredible meal made with food from his garden, accompanied by homemade wine. It felt less like a tour stop and more like being invited over by a friend. Nothing felt rushed, and the whole day was warm, funny, and memorable. If you’re in Budva, spend a day with Petar and Rajko. It was the highlight of our trip!

  • 5Unforgettable Evening of Montenegrin Culture & Hospitality

What a wonderful evening exploring Montenegro’s culture and heritage! Our guide, Petar, was exceptionally kind, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing the country’s history. We loved learning about each monastery, hearing the stories behind them, and admiring their beautiful architecture and religious significance. To top off an already incredible evening, we enjoyed a fantastic homemade meal at a charming 200-year-old stone home nestled in the hills above Budva. Our host, Rajko, was just as warm and welcoming. He gave us a tour of his beautiful garden, shared his homemade wine, and treated us to breathtaking views that made the experience even more memorable. This tour was the perfect combination of history, culture, hospitality, authentic local cuisine, amazing wine and of course rakija !! We highly, highly recommend it to anyone visiting Montenegro!

  • 5Please Don't Tell Anyone

Please don't tell anyone because this was one of the most amazing cultural experiences we've ever had and we need to keep it secret. Peter and Rico team together to give you an unforgettable experience. Amazing monasteries, incredible food, and off the chain experience. Let's keep it our secret so we can do it over and over. This was Off The Chain!!!

About Budva

Budva, on Montenegro's Adriatic coast, is a walled old town on a small peninsula, with a long run of beaches on either side.

Budva's old town sits on a rocky peninsula, enclosed by stone walls with a citadel on the seaward point. Narrow lanes lead between small churches and squares, and the settlement is more than 2,500 years old, with Venetian rulers shaping its present look from the fifteenth century. A 1979 earthquake damaged much of it, and it was carefully rebuilt. Beaches such as Mogren are reached by a path along the sea.
