About Trondheim
Trondheim is a historic city on a fjord in central Norway, with a great medieval cathedral, a wooden-house quarter on the river and many students.
Trondheim stands where the Nidelva river bends into the Trondheimsfjord, and was founded by the Viking king Olav Tryggvason in 997.
