Højdepunkter

Escape the city and experience Tromso’s Arctic wilderness during the magical summer season, when the sun never truly sets. Join a local guide for a scenic hike to a beautiful viewpoint outside the city. After pickup, travel in an electric vehicle through scenic landscapes, with photo stops along the way. At the trailhead, your guide will introduce the plan before leading you into peaceful northern nature. Follow a gradually ascending trail to a viewpoint overlooking fjords, islands, and peaks. Along the way, your guide shares insights into local culture, wildlife, and life above the Arctic Circle. The hike is at a comfortable pace in a small group, with time to enjoy the scenery. At the summit, relax with snacks and hot drinks while enjoying the Arctic light. Your guide will also take professional photos, which you will receive after the tour. Depending on your departure time, you may experience daylight, evening light, or the Midnight Sun.

About Tromsø

Tromsø is a Norwegian city well inside the Arctic Circle, on an island among fjords and peaks, known for the northern lights and the midnight sun.

Tromsø stands on an island in northern Norway, linked to the mainland by a bridge and a tunnel, with jagged peaks rising across the sound. Founded in the eighteenth century, it grew as a base for Arctic hunters and explorers, and the Polar Museum recalls expeditions that set out from the harbour. The Arctic Cathedral, with its angled glass front, stands across the bridge, and wooden houses fill the old centre.

Top-ranked sights in Tromsø: Tromso Fjords, Kvaloya (Sállir), Sommaroy.
