Højdepunkter
Fantastic adventure through Lençóis Maranhenses, one of the most unique regions in the globe. Surreal landscapes will be observed in the Brazilian "desert", full of crystalline lagoons. We will visit communities lost in time, untouched rivers, giant dunes and multicolored lagoons. We will get to know closely what it is like to live in an area where nature dictates the rules, experiencing the immemorial way of life of the natives. Transformative and unforgettable experience, indicated only for the strong in body and soul: HIGH level of DIFFICULTY.

About Barreirinhas
Barreirinhas is a small town on the Preguiças River in Maranhão, Brazil, and the main gateway to the white dunes and blue lagoons of Lençóis Maranhenses.
Barreirinhas sits on the Preguiças River in the north-east of Brazil, in the state of Maranhão. It is a small, low-lying town of riverside landings and guesthouses, and its main purpose is to serve as the base for the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, created in 1981. The name of the park means bedsheets, after the way the white dunes lie in folds over the land.
