You’ll get hands-on experience—planting and even harvesting your own agaves under the guidance of seasoned jimadores. After a rewarding morning in the fields, we’ll join the farmers for a well-deserved, delicious breakfast made with fresh, organic ingredients sourced straight from the region. To top it off, we’ll kick off our first tequila tasting right there among the agaves, with the company of friendly horses and the breathtaking landscape all around us.

3. Arrival at “El Tequileño” distillery to taste one of Mexico’s most respected tequila houses that has been on the market for almost 70 years. We will guide you through every step of the tequila production, followed by an exclusive tasting of their selection of additive-free tequilas, crafted with integrity using traditional methods and only natural ingredients. From the first pour to the final sip, you'll learn what sets true, high-quality tequila apart—no artificial flavors, no shortcuts, just the pure expression of blue agave and time-honored distillation.

About Guadalajara

Guadalajara, capital of Jalisco, is a big Mexican city of colonial plazas, murals, mariachi and tequila, in the highlands of the west.

Guadalajara sits in the western highlands, at around 1,500 metres, and calls itself the cradle of mariachi and tequila. The historic centre is arranged around a cross of plazas, with the twin spires of the cathedral, the Palacio de Gobierno, which has a huge mural of Miguel Hidalgo by José Clemente Orozco, and the neoclassical Degollado Theatre. The Hospicio Cabañas, a former orphanage, is a UNESCO site with more Orozco murals.
