5Story of Rum tour review
Fantastic tour, small group and great company. Cris was a fantastic tour guide and provided so much information about the island. All the stops Mount Gay visitor, Nicholas Abbey and the lunch stop were great. Considering it was a full day tour this was great value for money. Especially enjoyed the Rhianna music Cris played us in the car, made The trip perfect.
5Best driver and tour guide
Our was the Barbados historical Rum tour, the duration was six hours. Visiting The St Nicholas Abbey completing their distillery tour which was excellent. We also visited the Mount Gay visitor Centre where the Rum tasting was extensive! The day what’s definitely much more enjoyable due to our driver & tour guide Glyne who was thoroughly entertaining, very knowledgeable and engaging. We will definitely book more tours directly with the company.
5A fun day!
Our driver gave us a beautiful view of the island on all the twisty roads with lots of facts and info about the history of the island and current life on the island. The rum tours were delicious and informative. A fun day! Also, all pick up times and tours were very prompt but never rushed.
5Rum tasting small group tour
This was really well done. Lisa was on time for the pickup and was extremely informative and interesting with her lively commentary, and deep knowledge of the history and geography of Barbados. We had sufficient time to enjoy the rum tastings and distillery demonstrations, as well as stops in Bathsheba and a couple of extra locations that we asked for a photo opportunity on route. The roads are pretty rough and narrow, so I was glad that Lisa was behind the wheel. A full day of enjoyment! Highly recommend.
5Glyne is Great!
Glyne was completely knowledgeable. Shared amazing stories about Barbados and thoughts on life here in Barbados. Highly recommend him for a tour day!!
5Rum tasting tour
Winston our driver for the day was really pleasant. He was quite informative with the history of the Barbadian island and the land marks we passed on the way. He was a very careful driver as well. He explained about what we were doing when we arrived at St Nicholas Abbey plantation. We went on a steam train ride first, then had a guided tour of the house and the distillery. Megan was a really good tour guide. She was very friendly and informative. Then we had rum tasting afterwards. Then Winston took us for our lunch, which was included in the package. It was really nice and tasty. Then we went to the Mount Gay visitors centre where we watched a short video of how they make rum. Afterwards we had more rum tasting. The guide we had was really good. He was very friendly and funny and told you all about the different rums we tried. Then Winston picked us back up and dropped us off back to our hotel. I would recommend this experience and well worth the money.

About Diamond Valley
Diamond Valley lies in the south-east of Barbados, the easternmost Caribbean island, a coral island of sugar-cane fields, gentle hills and beaches.
Diamond Valley sits in the parish of St Philip, on the south-east side of Barbados, a coral-limestone island roughly 34 kilometres long and the easternmost of the Caribbean islands. Crane Beach, a wide beach of pale sand backed by cliffs, lies on this coast. The land is gently rolling, with sugar-cane fields, gullies cut into the limestone, and villages of painted wooden chattel houses. Calm beaches face the Caribbean Sea along the west coast, while the Atlantic side to the east is rougher, with strong surf and rocky headlands.
