If you need transportation from Seward to Anchorage this is a great option all in 2.5 hours. Pro Tip: If you find yourself waiting for hours after your cruise ends and your bus tour begins, you can wait inside the Terminal with your luggage. About 1 hour before the bus tour, Ginny, our wonderful driver, found us waiting & provided instructions. She did this with all parties waiting there. Ginny was organized and shared relevant fun facts all along our journey. She is a safe driver, with great jokes!

It was founded in 1903 as the starting point of a railroad into Alaska's interior and named for William Seward, the US Secretary of State who arranged the purchase of Alaska. The harbour is a base for fishing boats and sightseeing cruises, and a trail runs along the waterfront. The Seward Highway to Anchorage winds through mountains and beside Turnagain Arm.
