Højdepunkter

your guide will narrate the basilica’s story, from the legend of the Miracle of the Snow to the artistic and architectural highlights added across centuries. The live commentary focuses on the major chapels, the intricate marble floors, and the world-famous mosaics, with time for questions and close-up viewing where permitted. The tour includes guided access to the Crypt of the Nativity, where fragments of the Holy Crib are preserved, and to Bernini’s tomb, with historical context about the Baroque master. Depending on the option you choose, the guide will also take you to the Museum, Loggia, and Bernini Staircase, or to the 360° Panoramic Terrace with a live staff member for the terrace portion. This experience is ideal for visitors who prefer a structured, informative visit led by a knowledgeable local guide and who want to make the most of limited time in one of Rome’s most important papal basilicas.

About Rom

Top-ranked sights in Rom: Colosseum, Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel.
