1. Our tour will start from our office, gathering the entire group of passengers. This trip focuses on 3 important points. The Valley of the Moon, Central Crater and finally the viewpoint of Ckari. We start by touring the important points of our main destination, visit the salt caverns, the main dune, the amphitheater and the three Marias, salt caverns, which is located in the middle of the Sal mountain range. We move to the viewpoint of Ckari, to enjoy a sunset of beautiful colors and an aperitif. Recommendations: Wear pullover, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, mineral water and comfortable shoes for walking.

  An unforgettable introduction to the Atacama Desert. Our half-day tour to Valle de la Luna felt incredibly thorough and thoughtfully curated, allowing us to experience far more than we expected in just a few hours. The desert landscape is truly otherworldly. What made the tour particularly special was that it wasn’t just scenic viewpoints - we also set out on a beautiful hike, exploring different formations up close and learning fascinating geological insights along the way. Our guide was a very knowledgeable and warm woman who kindly took individual photographs of everyone, which was such a thoughtful touch - especially meaningful during our honeymoon. To top it all off, we enjoyed a lovely picnic prepared by our guide. Sitting there, sharing food while overlooking the oasis, felt incredibly special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting San Pedro de Atacama.

  A nice visit to this unique area of Chile. Very dry-5% humidity so bring water and moisturizer/ lip balm. The landscape is so different from most deserts.

About San Pedro de Atacama

San Pedro de Atacama is an adobe oasis town in northern Chile, ringed by salt flats, volcanoes, geysers and some of the driest desert on earth.

San Pedro de Atacama is a village of low whitewashed adobe houses and dusty streets in an oasis of the Atacama Desert, at about 2,400 metres. Its adobe church goes back to the 17th century and has a roof of cactus wood, and the small Museo Arqueológico Gustavo Le Paige displays mummies and pottery from the desert's early peoples. The cone of Licancabur volcano stands over the town to the east.
