2. One of the most beatiful houses in San Miguel, and buitl in the 17th Century, this house is currently a museum.

3. Originally built as a Convent, this is an interesting place to visit in San Miguel. We'll learn about the history of Catholicism in Mexico, and we'll see the murals painted by local artist, and the mural painted by Siqueiros (one of the most important muralist of Mexico), and his students in the mid XX Century.

4. We'll make a stop to see the town from a rooftop terrace, and have a drink and rest for a few minutes.

About San Miguel de Allende

San Miguel de Allende is a colonial hill town in Mexico's central highlands, with a pink-stone church, cobbled streets, galleries and an art school.

San Miguel de Allende sits at about 1,900 metres in the Bajío highlands of Guanajuato, a town of cobbled streets and painted colonial houses built when silver and trade made the region rich. The Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, with its pink sandstone spires, dominates the Jardín, the main square. The town takes the second half of its name from Ignacio Allende, a leader of the independence movement born here, and the historic centre is a World Heritage site.
