San Miguel de Allende Private Photography Workshop

This is a hands-on experience for guests who want to create their own photographs using a DSLR, mirrorless camera or smartphone. Your professional photographer guide will adapt the instruction to your experience, interests and equipment, making the workshop suitable for beginners, photography enthusiasts and advanced amateurs. As you walk through the city, stop at carefully selected locations to practice working with natural light, composition, perspective, framing and selective focus. Camera users can also receive guidance on moving beyond automatic or program mode and making more creative use of their equipment. San Miguel de Allende’s colorful façades, cobblestone streets, historic doorways, plazas and architectural details provide a wide range of subjects. Because the workshop is private, you can enjoy personalized guidance throughout the experience. By the end, you will have a stronger understanding of photography and a collection of images you created yourself.

• The workshop includes approximately two hours of walking and standing in San Miguel de Allende’s historic center. Some streets may be steep, uneven or cobblestoned, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
