The Baywalk in Puerto Princesa is facing the Puerto Princesa Bay and is part of the tourist destination in the City. It is a place being frequented by the locals especially in the morning where they do their morning walks, exercises and jogging while enjoying the view of the bay facing the nearby mountains. The historical Plaza Cuartel is a restored ruin of an old garrison camp where Japanese soldiers burned down around 150 American prisoners of war in a tunnel found underneath the parks portal. The Plaza Cuartel nestled in the port area and adjacent to the Immaculate Conception Cathedral and Rizal Park.
The Immaculate Conception Cathedral is a religious and historical landmark in the province of Palawan. The Spanish-era church is located across the historic Plaza Cuartel. The Cathedral is a beautiful structure of Gothic architecture style with two belfries and neo-gothic interior decor. It serves as the seat of the Roman Catholic Apostolic Vicariate of Puerto Princesa.
It is used to be a private property that became a tourist destination as they built a park, bakeshop and restaurants for the locals and foreign guests to enjoy. It is good place to buy baked goods.
Rancho Mitra, popularly known as Mitra's Ranch can be found on a hilltop with a view of Honda Bay, facing Sulu Sea. It used to be a house of the former Politician until they open it to the public. Visitors can enjoy the open space and the laid back atmosphere, and the distinctive structure of the main house, designed like a chalet.
Also known as the Crocodile Farm and Nature Park, is a popular destination in the City. It is a breeding place for Philippine crocodiles and home to some endangered animals. Tourist can pet and cuddle baby crocodiles. It is a facility that works to conserve the two endangered species of crocodiles found in the Philippines, the saltwater crocodile and the endemic freshwater crocodile. You will get to know facts about these species of reptiles, the only known survivor of the Dinosaur age.

Puerto Princesa is the capital of Palawan in the western Philippines, a gateway to the Underground River and the islands of Honda Bay.
Puerto Princesa lies on the central east coast of Palawan, a long island in the western Philippines between the South China Sea and the Sulu Sea. The city is a spread-out place of markets, a harbour front and a cathedral, and it covers a huge area of forest, mangroves and coast. Its Baywalk is lined with open-air grills, and Plaza Cuartel recalls a wartime massacre of prisoners in 1944.
