Tamarindo has excellent conditions for beginners on a daily basis. It's easy to learn here and it's easy to enjoy it. In just one lesson, you can pop up on your board and ride waves! We offer surfing lessons for all levels, for individuals and groups. You can also choose to take a 3-day mini course, or a full course of 5 days surfing. About Tamarindo
Tamarindo is a surf town on Costa Rica's Guanacaste coast, with a wide sandy bay, an estuary and a strip of beach bars looking west to the sunset.
Tamarindo grew from a fishing village into the main beach town of Guanacaste, with its beach, shops and restaurants strung along one main road. The bay has gentle waves for beginners, and surf schools line the sand, while more powerful breaks lie a short drive along the coast. The estuary at the northern end shelters mangroves where herons and the occasional crocodile are seen from kayaks.
