The Mickelson Trail extends from Edgemont, South Dakota to Deadwood, South Dakota and consists of 109 miles with 15 trail heads. The 20 mile portion that you ride is a moderate trail traveling through two tunnels and over a historic railroad bridge. About Rapid City

Rapid City sits where the Black Hills meet the Great Plains in western South Dakota, on the banks of Rapid Creek.
