Rute

  1. Your Egyptologist meets you at your hotel reception in the morning. You travel by private air-conditioned vehicle to the Giza Plateau, about 30 minutes from central Cairo. You start at the base of the Great Pyramid of Khufu. Your guide walks you around its perimeter, explains the construction theories that actually hold up, and gives you time for photos. Optional: enter inside the Great Pyramid (additional entrance fee $11 USD). Next, you head to the panoramic view point where all three Pyramids align for the iconic photo. Then on to the Sphinx, where your guide explains its history and the latest theories about its true age. Optional: a 15-minute camel ride along the desert ridge with the Pyramids in your background, arranged directly with a licensed handler. Your guide drops you back at your hotel by lunchtime.
