Rute

  1. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi is one of the world’s largest and most stunning mosques, blending Islamic architecture with modern craftsmanship. Built between 1996 and 2007, it honors the UAE’s founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The mosque features 82 white marble domes, 1,096 columns, and the world’s largest hand-knotted carpet, crafted by Iranian artisans. The chandeliers, adorned with Swarovski crystals, add to its grandeur. With a capacity for over 40,000 worshippers, it is a key religious and cultural landmark. Reflecting pools enhance its beauty, especially at sunset. Open to non-Muslim visitors, it offers free guided tours, allowing guests to appreciate its architectural and spiritual significance. The mosque promotes peace, tolerance, and unity, making it a must-visit attraction in the UAE. Visitors should dress modestly, and women are provided with abayas to respect Islamic traditions.

About Dubai

Top-ranked sights in Dubai: Burj Al-Arab Jumeirah, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina.
