5Fantastic 4x4 tour
Nine of us took the Wildside tour in October with Dan, our guide. Panoramic Peaks customizes Toyota 4x4s, putting in comfortable seats for 11, beefing up the springs, and sparing no expense on tires to make the vehicles safe and comfortable ride on class 5-6 Jeep trails. You meet them at their headquarters just off the main drag ($2/hour city parking nearby) and load up in their 4x4s after signing their legal documents. They then head east to the Jeep trails just outside of town. After an hour climb on challenging roads in the national forest, they will take you to their very own private "tower" that offers a 360-degree view from Wyoming to Pikes Peak with RMNP to the west and Denver to the east. Then it is a stop for snacks (and a restroom break) in the nearby pavilion. If you are lucky, you will stop by the Estes Park sign to feed the small animals and maybe get up and close with some elk before returning to their headquarters after at least 3 1/2 hours on the road.
5Healing and Beautiful Tour.
We had an amazing tour guide Joe E! He was extremely knowledgeable about the plant and animal life. He showed us the plants in the area. He along with “ Goat Cheese” ( not sure of the spelling of his name) let us smell different vegetation and told us about the medicinal properties and history of the area for indigenous people. Goat Cheese used his drum and shaker and sang a lovely Native American song while we overlooked a beautiful mountaintop. This was a very healing time. He told us the history of the land for his people and had a moment of silence for those we lost. It was a beautiful and touching moment. Joe gave us an amazing ride and the tour was extremely helpful to everyone on our vehicle. We had a passenger who lost an article while on the tour and Joe E. went back to locate it for them. He treated everyone with respect on our tour and I would totally do this again with my family.
5Fun Adventure in Estes Park
This was such a great activity in Estes Park!! As a tourist it allows you to see areas you wouldn’t otherwise have access to. It was fun and kids would love it. Our guide, Joe E., was so knowledgeable when we would stop. He told us all about the trees and plants. His driving was so fun and he knew just when to add a little extra speed to make it even more fun. He had blankets, snacks, and water. Thanks for a great day Joe!!
5Such a wonderful experience!!!

About Estes Park
Estes Park is a mountain town at the eastern gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, known for elk, alpine lakes and a historic hotel.
Estes Park lies at about 2,300 metres in a valley of the Colorado Rockies, along the Big Thompson River and beside Lake Estes. It is the main eastern entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. The town centre has timber-fronted shops, a riverwalk and the Stanley Hotel, a white Colonial Revival hotel on a hill that opened in 1909 and inspired Stephen King's novel The Shining.
