5Still the best kept secret in Noosa!
The best kept secret in Noosa!!! Still! I first reviewed Noosa Queen in 2016 and it has always been a real favourite with locals, as well as tourists. Back then it was fun, inexpensive and a real treat to get on the water with your friends, take some snacks and buy a glass of wine. With new ownership in recent years, the gorgeous Noosa Queen has undergone a facelift, new paint and seating and upholstery, fairy lights and overall presentation. And I think the new owner/captain has really delivered on the very entertaining commentary as we cruise up the river. As locals, we just love being able to take all our snacks, party food, cheese and dips etc, and have a lovely table on the upper deck while enjoying glasses of wine or just about anything else from the well stocked bar. And the captain and bar-girl just seem so relaxed and friendly and you feel it's a bit like family! And to top that off..it's still very inexpensive! Where else can you have this sort of wonderful experience in Noosa for $35! The cruise is timed to arrive at Lake Cooroibah for the last 10 minutes of sunset, so it's a magical afternoon with a spectacular ending. ( We were 5 local ladies just getting together...)
5Informative & relaxing susnset cruise along the Stunning Noosa river
This was so enjoyable! We booked the day before and arrived about 10 mins before the departure time. Make sure you look on the floor for the blue footprints that will take you directly to the boat! I do recommend getting there a lot earlier if you want to secure a seat at the front or on the top deck. We got the table and chairs on the back deck which was great, we could hear the commentary and only had to be a little patient while we waited for the boat to pass the area of interest. Dan the Captain is both hilarious and informative, pointing out areas of interest and highlighting the local wildlife. Highly recommended, we were a party of 4; two adult kids and their parents.

Wonderful and informative sunset cruise. Sunset over the lake stunning and Dan's information in the trip really interesting. A lovely relaxing trip.
5Another brilliant sunset
Another great trip with Captain Dan, he especially organised a clear blue sky and brilliant sunset, cold drinks and bad dad jokes. The birds along the way are spectacular.
5Great way to celebrate
Well worth the money. A lovely way to celebrate Father’s Day. Free drink was great bonus!
