At nightfall, join us to discover the delicious world of coffee and chocolate where we will learn the whole process of these 2 important products, also you would have the chance of tasting coffee and chocolate.
We will tour our farm to enter the extraordinary nightlife where we might be able to see some species of frogs and toads such as the Giant Toad, the Rufous-eyed Stream Frog, the small “Jewels of the Forest” like the Glass Frog and one of the smallest frogs of Costa Rica, the Pigmy Rain Frog. With luck during the tour, we can see some species of insects, mammals such as the 2 Toed Sloth, Raccoons, Porcupine, Opossums and sometimes nocturnal birds.

About Monteverde
Monteverde is a mountain community in Costa Rica's cloud forest, known for misty reserves, hanging bridges, birdlife and coffee farms.
Monteverde is a scattering of farms and small villages on the Tilarán Mountains, around 1,400 metres up, where moist winds from the Caribbean wrap the ridge in cloud. Quaker families from the United States settled here in the 1950s and began dairy farming, and they helped protect the forest above. The Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve and the neighbouring Santa Elena Reserve preserve mossy trees, ferns, orchids and hanging vines.
