  This is a long day but worth it! The journey is broken up with several stops. The place is amazing and well worth doing . The rep and driver were great. Lost one star as lunch was described as in a village setting. It was more like a school buffet canteen on the side of a road. Awful lunch experience shared with another 5 coaches. Queue for food was long and food was cold once we sat down. This lunch experience was not the icing on the cake to what was otherwise a magical day!

  The guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. The driver was fantastic getting us there safely through a massive storm. The timings spent in each monastery was perfect. It’s a really long day but the breaks and lunch help. I thought the lunch was good and fairly priced. Really pleased I chose this tour.

• 5One of the best experiences I’ve ever had

  This was an absolutely wonderful experience. Meteora is incredible and it was well worth the trip. Our son enjoyed it, the views were breathtaking, the tour guide was interesting, she spoke to us in the coach about life in Parga, sites we passed on the way and then about Meteora of course. She set expectations of what to wear and what not to do (I.e no photos in the chapel). Pick up was easy. It was quite independent when you got there and were able to explore at your own pace. The timings were just right. Shorter at the smaller monastery. We stopped at key points on the journey for some fantastic photographs.

About Corfu

Corfu is a green Ionian island off north-west Greece, with a Venetian old town, olive groves, rocky coves and a taste of French and British history.

Corfu Town, on the east coast, is listed by UNESCO for its Venetian, French and British layers, with narrow lanes of tall pastel houses between two Venetian fortresses.
