Provence is famous for many things, its food, its " Art de Vivre" its wine, but the most iconic picture of it is Lavender. Rejoice in Provence exploring where this plant offers the most beautiful scenics in such a magical area with me. As a local, born and raised in Provence, I’ll show you my favorite spots, share stories, and will make this day memorable for you.
Valensole is a plateau famous more being home to endless lavender fields. Local farmers are using this plant for medicinal and perfume purposes. You’ll see waves of lavender all around you in which you can take pictures and walk around.
Farmers offer an exhibition of the product they make out of lavender. You’ll visit a distillery and select products you want to save for souvenirs.

Avignon is a walled Rhône city where the popes lived in the fourteenth century, known for its vast palace, a broken bridge and a summer theatre festival.
From 1309 to 1377 the popes governed the Catholic Church from Avignon, and the Palais des Papes, a huge Gothic fortress of pale stone, still rises above the old town. Medieval ramparts more than four kilometres long surround the centre. The Pont Saint-Bénézet, the Pont d'Avignon of the nursery song, stops halfway across the Rhône, with only four of its arches left.
Top-ranked sights in Avignon: Roussillon, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Pont du Gard.
