Viti Levu is the largest island in Fiji, home to the capital Suva, the airport town of Nadi, the Coral Coast and a mountainous green interior.

Viti Levu is the largest of Fiji's islands and home to most of its people. Nadi, in the drier west, has the international airport, while Suva, the capital and biggest city, sits on the wetter south-east coast with a harbour, a busy market and colonial-era buildings. Between them the Queens Road follows the Coral Coast, a stretch of fringing reef, beach resorts and small villages.
