1. Coxen Hole is the capital of Roatan - one of two municipalities on the island. This ocean-side, cultural and warm city offers freshly baked local desserts (you will vendors in the city centre), homemade local dishes, as well as the Catholic Church, Baptist Church, local park, and cargo boat stations that will keep you intrigued during your tour. About Roatan

Roatan is the largest of Honduras's Bay Islands, a long, narrow Caribbean island with white-sand beaches, reefs for diving and small fishing communities.

Roatan lies off the north coast of Honduras, a long ridge of green hills only a few kilometres wide. Its north shore faces the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the second largest in the world, so snorkelling and scuba diving are the main attractions. West Bay Beach has a long curve of soft sand and shallow clear water, and West End, a laid-back village of dive shops, is nearby.
