The main reserve for birdwatching in Monteverde is Curi-Cancha with more than two areas of life, Open Areas, Cloud Forest among a wide variety of Ecosystems that make this place incredible for Birdwatching with fascinating Species Woodcreepers, Leaftosers, Wrens among another wide variety of species on the target list of the Hardcore Birders This is the best reserve to find birds on a day trip.

Bird Watching on some of the coolest reserves in the Monteverde cloud forest region searching for awesome endemic birds from the area. The biodiverse from Curi-Cancha Reserve that it's home to around 200 different bird species, making it a top draw for birdwatchers. The birds that could be seen are the resplendent quetzal, three-wattled bellbird, blue-crowned motmot, and orange-bellied trogon.

About Puntarenas
Puntarenas is a Pacific port on a narrow sandspit in the Gulf of Nicoya, with a seaside promenade, a cruise dock and ferries to the Nicoya Peninsula.
Puntarenas stretches along a sandspit about five kilometres long that pokes into the Gulf of Nicoya, with the sea on one side and an estuary on the other. In the 19th century it was Costa Rica's main Pacific port, when coffee from the Central Valley was carted down to be shipped abroad. Today a long seafront promenade, the Paseo de los Turistas, runs along the beach, and cruise ships call at the dock.
