Wonderful tour with too tall John. He was full of interesting info and we never felt rushed. He was also very respectful of the park!
5Great First Experience of the Grand Canyon National Park
Apparently Canyon Dave has been doing this a while, and it shows through his guides. We had Jordan and he was absolutely knowledgeable after only doing this job for a few months. This was our first time to the Grand Canyon and Jordan gave us the history going back billions of years as well as the layers of each rock and formation we saw in front of us. He shared numerous pamphlets with us so we could visualize things and it was great. It was only my husband and I on the tour, but I don't think that mattered to him; we still received the best service and tour possible. We enjoyed all his water and snacks (ice would be recommended for the future) and we were still able to eat lunch even during this trying time for the Canyon. We felt like Jordan was one of our own by the end of the day as we just talked about many other things are our way home. THANK you so much to Jordan and his great service.
5There's nothing else like the Grand Canyon!
We were able to see the majority of viewing points from the South Rim with the help of a tour guide who explained the history associated with the development in the park. The GC is unlike any other natural wonder -- what a great experience!
5Great Tour and Tour Guide!
Great way to explore the South Rim of the Grand Canyon! Our tour guide Leo (Leanore) is extremely knowledgeable and a very good communicator. She moved us around various points of interest at a comfortable pace, sharing the history, geology, biology, and tribal significance of the Canyon. She had several interactive tools for us to learn from, and was great at answering questions of every sort. I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to do more than just look at the Grand Canyon.

About Grand Canyon National Park
Grand Canyon National Park in northern Arizona protects the Colorado River's vast gorge, over a mile deep, its layered red rock stretching to the horizon.
The Colorado River has cut the Grand Canyon over millions of years, exposing layers of rock that span nearly two billion years. The canyon is about 446 kilometres long, up to 29 kilometres wide and more than 1.8 kilometres deep. The South Rim, at about 2,100 metres, has viewpoints such as Mather Point, Yavapai Point and the Desert View Watchtower, a stone tower designed by Mary Colter in 1932.
