Awesome trip. Bring heavy jacket. It's cold on the mountain and was snowing, not flurries, 2nd week in September. The sites bring to mind and Kodak moment. So many waterfalls.

This was a beautiful scenic trip. We were lucky enough to make it to the top despite a snow storm. Alex our driver and Denim our driver were very good.

Our cruise excursion was all booked up and decided to book this sightseeing on my own. Our guide Amy was exceptionally kind, professional and knowledgeable and our driver was highly skillful driving through the narrow mountainous roads. Overall no issues whatsoever with booking and it was a great and memorable experience, thank you TripAdvisor!!!

About Åndalsnes
Åndalsnes is a small town at the head of Romsdalsfjord in western Norway, below sheer peaks, and the start of the Trollstigen mountain road.
Åndalsnes lies at the head of the Romsdalsfjord, in Møre og Romsdal, where the Rauma River reaches the sea and steep mountains close in on every side. The Romsdalshorn, a sharp rock spire in the valley behind the town, draws climbers, and a cable car climbs from the centre to a viewpoint high above the fjord. Trollveggen, the Troll Wall, rises over a kilometre in a near-vertical face further up the valley, one of the tallest rock walls in Europe.
