2. Then tour the impressive Luxor Temple dedicated to Amun, two Pharaohs contributed to building this temple, they were Amenophis III and Ramses II. Magnificent in its own right, the temple features enormous gateways, shrines, and sanctuaries.

3. visiting the West Bank of Luxor and exploring the Temple of Hatshepsut built on the cliffs of an area known as Deir-el-Bahri. The temple was constructed out of limestone rock for the famous female Pharaoh Hatshepsut. Walk through the magnificent halls, corridors, and courtyards; view the colossal statue of the queen that was completed reconstructed and the awesome reliefs that depict grand scenes of the ancient world.

4. Discover more of Luxor’s West Bank with a visit to the Valley of the Kings which is a massive burial ground for Pharaohs, kings and the elite of Egypt’s New Kingdom (1550-1070BC). There are 63 known tombs in the valley of which 26 were built for kings and the others for royal family members and the elites.

5. Then visit the Colossi of Memnon, which are two huge statues around 17m high that once guarded the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. The temple has been completely destroyed and all that is left are these two massive statues made from blocks of quartzite which feature Amenhotep III seated on his throne facing the Nile and the rising sun.
