Rute

  1. The Panorama Route encompasses some spectacular scenery, with breath-taking views of the Blyde River Canyon, and out over the endless Lowveld beyond. You'll go along the edge of the escarpment, to look out points offering magnificent views, including God’s Window, Wonderview and the Three Rondawels. Along the route we visit the famous Bourke’s Luck Potholes – deep cylindrical cavities formed by thousands of years of water erosion at the confluence of the Blyde and Treur Rivers.                At lunchtime the tour will stop back in Graskop so that guests can have lunch at a restaurant, and if time permits, can spend a while browsing in local shops or along the pavements. Street vendors sell an amazing variety of goods – from nuts and fruit to beaded necklaces and carved wooden animals. South of Graskop, where the Sabie River rises, and numerous waterfalls tumble down the mountains, we will visit the beautiful Berlin Falls and Lisbon Falls on the way back to Hazyview.

  • 5Gap Tours are awesome

The views were absolutely amazing! Edward, our guide, kept us entertained throughout the trip while teaching us so much about the area and South Africa. He was awesome! My favourite sight was definitely Blyde Canyon — absolutely spectacular! I’d even say it was better than the Grand Canyon. 🇿🇦❤️

About Hazyview

Hazyview is a small town in South Africa's Lowveld, close to Kruger National Park, citrus and banana farms and the Sabie River.

Hazyview lies in the Lowveld of Mpumalanga province, a warm green valley of banana, mango, macadamia and citrus farms beneath the escarpment of the Drakensberg. The Sabie River flows nearby, and the Phabeni entrance gate of Kruger National Park lies a short drive east, which makes the town a base for the park's southern and central areas. Craft stalls along the main road sell wood carvings, beadwork and baskets.
