John thought it safe to set the Virgin Mary on Bulbul Mountain, which is close to Ephesus. It is thought that the Virgin Mary passed away at this dwelling during her last years. It was the biggest hub of paganism at the time because to its vastness. 5. The area of Selcuk town, the fifth and last settlement of Ephesus, is home to Sirince, one of the most picturesque villages in Tukey's western region. The drive from the town of Selcuk takes around fifteen minutes. Beautiful scenery and stone homes greet you upon arrival, and the kind locals extend their welcome by giving you a drink. There are a lot of wine cellars and restaurants in Sirince where you may sample regional cuisine. More than ten varieties of handcrafted fruit wines are available for tasting and consumption.
