This tour is one of our all time favorites! Eyjafjallajökull is the famous glacier that erupted in 2010 causing massive flight problems all over Europe. We drive up the slopes of the glacier in a highly equipped 4x4 Super Jeep and on our way take in the astonishing view over the whole South coast of Iceland, including the Westman-Islands. About Vík
Vík í Mýrdal is a small village on Iceland's south coast beside black sand, sea stacks and puffin cliffs, with a glacier-capped volcano above.
Vík í Mýrdal is the southernmost village on the Icelandic mainland, set on a green slope above a long beach, with a small red-roofed church on the hill. The Mýrdalsjökull ice cap, which covers the Katla volcano, fills the horizon to the north, and the sea stacks of Reynisdrangar rise out of the water off the beach.
