This hike involves a stage itinerary to let you know and appreciate places of particular natural value within the Etna Park reserve up to an altitude of about 2000 meters. Thanks to the experience of our staff, on board 4x4 vehicles you will have an interesting and fun experience. Starting from the lava flows that threatened entire countries, the extinct craters and the viewpoint of the majestic Valle del Bove will be visited. You will visit a lava tube equipped with a helmet and speleology lights. The tour will conclude with a tasting of Sicilian specialties. Reach our starting point with the Your car, free parking and other tourist services available, including the possibility of lunch stop, light lunch and wine tasting. Or request the withdrawal from the historic center of Catania, included in some tickets. Choose the ticket that does for you in the booking.

The tour winds through the visit of different attractions (at least 4): the ancient and recent lava flows; the Valle del Bove; the visit of a volcanic cave with lights and helmets; walk on the side craters at about 2000 meters.
Panoramic stop in the spectacular Valle del Bove, a natural amphitheater created by the collapse of the ancient eruptive centers of Etna. This stage may not be carried out starting from Taormina. Alternatively, you can reach the ski resort of Piano Provenzana destroyed by the 2002 eruption.
Visit this or a similar cave with lights and speleologist helmet to understand the fascinating phenomenon of the formation of lava tubes. The guides will assist you in this fascinating natural place to descend into the meanders of the volcano.
Tasting all'agricoltour MontataGrande with tasting of Etna and Sicilian specialties (wine, liqueurs, oil, honey from Zafferana, sweet creams, salty pesto, pistachio from Bronte, etc). About Catania
Catania, on Sicily's east coast, is a black lava-stone city beneath Mount Etna, with a noisy fish market, Baroque squares and a long seafront.
Catania lies at the foot of Mount Etna, the active volcano whose lava reached the city in 1669, and an earthquake in 1693 flattened it. Rebuilt in the eighteenth century in the Baroque style, it uses black lava stone for walls and paving, set against white limestone. The Piazza del Duomo has an elephant of lava stone carrying an obelisk, the cathedral of Sant'Agata, and a fountain.
