Mġarr is a small village in the north-west of Malta, with a parish church and a scatter of farms and fields on rolling land. Ta' Ħaġrat and Skorba, two Neolithic temple sites older than the pyramids of Egypt, stand in the fields on its edge and are part of the World Heritage listing of Malta's megalithic temples.
