At the site you'll see hidden trapdoors barely wider than your shoulders, the ingenious ventilation and cooking systems that hid smoke from the surface. Then comes the part everyone remembers: crawling through a preserved section of tunnel yourself, there are exit points along the way, so you can go as far as you're comfortable. Afterwards you'll try local cassava with peanut and sesame — the staple that kept the tunnel residents alive — and enjoy free time before the drive back to the city.
