Discover your favorite Colombian coffee at DV Café Especial, recognized with five TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice awards, in La Candelaria, Bogotá. We will start with a blind tasting of two coffees. You will explore aromas, sweetness, acidity, and texture, accompanied by a host who will help you recognize and express what you perceive. After you will taste four varieties of Colombian coffee prepared with four different methods. The experience was created by Leandro, co-founder of DV Café Especial and third-generation coffee producer from Pitalito, Huila. About Bogotá
Bogotá, Colombia's capital, sits high in the Andes at around 2,600 metres, with a colonial old quarter, a famed gold museum and a hilltop church.
La Candelaria, the old quarter, lies at the foot of the eastern hills, with streets of colonial houses, galleries and murals around Plaza de Bolívar and its cathedral. The Gold Museum holds thousands of pre-Hispanic gold objects, and the Botero Museum shows the plump figures of Fernando Botero, who gave the city his collection. Above town, a funicular and cable car rise to Monserrate, a white church at over 3,100 metres.
