In the afternoon, you will explore the Leshan Giant Buddha included by UNESCO on the list of the World Heritage sites. You could take a boat to have a whole view of the sitting Maitreya statue or walk into the park to discover the stone statue of Maitreya carved on a cliff. Measuring about 233-feet high, this Buddha with serious expression is the largest stone Buddha in the world whose carving work took about 90 years. Afterwards, drive back to Chengdu and drop you off at the hotel, the full-day Chengdu highlights tour ends.
