Højdepunkter
I am incredibly proud to be the first and only female city walk guide in this magnificent city. When you walk the streets of Jodhpur, you aren't just seeing blue walls and ancient forts; you are stepping into centuries of living history. I created this 3-hour walking experience from scratch, carefully designing every step of the route to show you the authentic heart of my city—far beyond the standard tourist trails.

About Jodhpur
Jodhpur, the Blue City of Rajasthan, spreads beneath the great Mehrangarh Fort at the edge of the Thar Desert, its old houses washed in blue.
Rao Jodha founded Jodhpur in 1459, and the huge Mehrangarh Fort still stands on a rocky ridge above the old city, its walls and palaces holding museums of arms, palanquins and painted rooms. Below, thousands of cube-shaped houses are washed in blue, a colour said to have started with the Brahmin families who lived there. White marble Jaswant Thada, a memorial to a maharaja, lies close to the fort.
Top-ranked sights in Jodhpur: Mehrangarh (Mehran Fort), Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum.
