Bran Dracula’s Castle is a national monument and landmark in Romania. It is a popular tourist attraction, boasting an impressive and varied history dating back to the 14th century. The castle is known for its unique, imposing architecture, as well as its associations with Vlad III, the 15th-century Romanian ruler better known as Vlad the Impaler, or Dracula.
Nestled at the foot of Tâmpa Mountain, it is one of the most well-preserved medieval old towns in Transylvania, characterized by its distinctive saxon architecture, cobblestone streets, and centuries-old fortifications.
