About Auckland

Auckland, New Zealands største by, breder sig over en landtange mellem to havne, prikket med vulkankegler, strande og bugter fyldt med øer.

Sky Tower rejser sig over centrum og havnefronten, hvor Viaduct Harbour og Wynyard Quarter er kantet af restauranter og lystyachter, passende til Aucklands tilnavn, Sejlenes By. Mount Eden og One Tree Hill, to af de mange vulkankegler spredt over byen, giver panoramaudsigt.

Top-ranked sights in Auckland: Auckland Harbour Bridge, Waiheke Island, North Head Historic Reserve (Maungauika).
