Wade through the forests and mountain trails of the Annapurna Sanctuary, experience the local tea houses, eat local foods, meet fellow trekkers, make lifelong friends, and see the sunrise crest over the Himalyan mountains at ABC. It will be one of the most memorable experiences you will have. Trek with Madu, a local professional guide from Pokhara with over 10 years of trekking and guide experience. About Pokhara

Pokhara is a lakeside city in central Nepal, with Phewa Lake and the Annapurna peaks above it, and the starting point for classic Himalayan treks.

Pokhara lies in a valley at about 800 metres, with Phewa Lake at its heart. Wooden boats cross to the small Tal Barahi temple on an island, and the Lakeside district is a strip of cafés, shops and guesthouses. On clear mornings the Annapurna range and the sharp pyramid of Machapuchare, 'Fishtail', rise above the water, startlingly close to a lowland town.
