About Albuquerque
Albuquerque is New Mexico's largest city, a high-desert city on the Rio Grande with an adobe old town, the Sandia Mountains and a famous balloon festival.
Albuquerque lies at about 1,600 metres in the high desert, along the Rio Grande, with the Sandia Mountains rising on its eastern edge.
