After watching an adorable sunset, you will proceed towards the event site riding on the back of a camel. Your arrival at the site will be greeted in a traditional Rajasthani style where you will be served with refreshing drinks & snacks at the camp and then the most wonderful highlight of camping will get started. The cultural program drenched in melodious tunes will surely leave you spellbound, by the mind-blowing performance of the artists. In the program, you will enjoy the Folk Dance and Music performance of Rajasthan, the most highlighted folk dance is Kalbelia Dance which is one of the most sensuous dance forms of Rajasthan. The entertainers are clad in the shining black color clothes which contains beautiful mirror work, men with colorful turbans playing their instruments and singing the music. Later enjoy the buffet dinner (pure veg.) arrangements in the camping area and take a pleasure in the golden sand dune of Jaisalmer and have a taste of the delicious dinner served in the majestic camp area. After dinner, overnight stay in the deserted dunes under the wide-stretched canopy of stars will leave you spellbound.   The Real Desert Man Camel Safari team ensures that you are having a great experience. The hospitality and arrangements from the team truly enrich and enhance your desert man experience. It is recommended to have the stay at dunes instead of commercialised stays. But It is important to manage your expectations as dunes we stay at are not as huge or expansive.

• 5Fantastic experience

  Not just one abandoned village we even got to enjoy and spend some time with the people of Barna village. The team made sure to take good care of us Swiss tents were also so neat & clean. Every event was so fun and good, big shout out to the food provided by them! Many varieties of options and very tasty too. Best of all was the stargazing experience during the night!!!

• 5Desert night under the stars

  Our trip to Jaisalmer on December 31, 2024, followed by a desert safari with Real Desert Man Sawai Ji and his amazing team, was truly memorable. The overall experience was excellent! We stayed in a luxurious Swiss-style camp, which was incredibly comfortable. The night included a vibrant cultural event, along with tea, snacks, and dinner – the food quality was outstanding. The entire staff was exceptionally polite and accommodating. The next day, we visited the sand dunes and had an incredible time enjoying a camel ride, a jeep safari, and a stunning sunset view. It was a fantastic experience with Real Desert Man – highly recommended! Exceptional hospitality Friendly and attentive staff Breathtaking views in the desert Mesmerizing starlit skies A must-visit for anyone looking for an unforgettable desert adventure!

• 2Upcharging after payment

  We booked the new year package and they told us that they will provide Swiss style tents for the rate. Then they changed it to mobile campsites which had only a shared toilet. They charged another 50,000 to get the 2 Swiss style tents. The food was ordinary, not much snacks for children. The desert and camel safari were great. The dunes have an outstanding view of setting sun. Water did not come in the morning. I had to talk to a driver who got the motor turned on. May be this happened since they were fully booked and did not hire enough staff to take care of the guests. Mediocre camp experience, but amazing desert views. They were polite and communicative.

• 5Desert night under the stars

  The experience was fantastic. 100% recommended. We did an overnight in the desert with cultural show, dinner buffet, sleeping on cots under the stars in the dunes, and camel rides. This provider does an excellent job with the experience. Communication was pretty limited, and they run several different experiences simultaneously depending on what people have booked. We didn’t always understand who was going where (there was often overlap with groups on different itineraries), but it was all well managed. We got exactly what we were hoping for and just kind of went with the flow. The quality of the food, performances, camel rides, and sleeping arrangements were all excellent. Watching the Milky Way overhead in the desert night…priceless!!

  Had wonderful time under the star with local dinner and breakfast. Spend time listening to the folk music and stories. P.s. you can opt out of camel ride and enjoy a jeep ride in the desert instead.

About Jaisalmer

Jaisalmer is a golden sandstone fort town in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan, with a living hilltop citadel, carved havelis and camel treks to the dunes.

Jaisalmer rises from the sands of the Thar Desert near India's western border, and the honey-coloured stone of its buildings has earned it the name Golden City. Its fort, founded in 1156 by the Bhati ruler Jaisal, stands on a hill above the town, with houses, shops, temples and guesthouses still inside the walls. It is one of the few forts in India where people still live, and it belongs to the Hill Forts of Rajasthan World Heritage listing.
