Here enjoy leisure wander along the peaceful ground with lake, towers , admire the 1700 years old Ruiguang Pagoda and learn the interesting folklores , stroll along the ancient City Wall with the unique water and land gate that once used as the strategic defense of the city, see the largest stone bridge across the Grand Canal.

Next head to the historic Pingjiang road or the lively Shantang old street, enjoy fun explore the colorful water markets along the ancient canal lined with traditional Chinese houses, willow trees, stone bridges. Check out the unique local arts, crafts, trinkets, eateries etc. You may also enjoy some fun souvenir shopping here or choose to have a relaxing gondola ride along the peaceful canal, fully appreciate the charm of the “Oriental Venice”. If you have been to the above sites or prefer other options, you could choose to visit the famous Tiger Hill with the Leaning Pagoda or the famed Suzhou Museum, Hanshan Buddhist Temple etc. After the great tour your guide will see you off at your Suzhou hotel or other downtown area as per your request.

About Suzhou

Suzhou, an old canal city west of Shanghai, is known for its classical gardens, whitewashed houses and stone bridges over narrow canals.

Suzhou has been a centre of wealth and culture for more than two thousand years, and its scholars and wealthy families built gardens as private retreats. Nine of them are inscribed by UNESCO, among them the Humble Administrator's Garden, the Lingering Garden and the Master of the Nets Garden, with rockeries, ponds, pavilions and zigzag corridors arranged to make small spaces seem large.
