5Best Wine Tour & Tasting I’ve been on!
The wine tour with Markus was fantastic!! We saw 2-3 vineyards and were able to see the grapes being harvested up close in the field (lucky timing for the harvesting). The wine tasting and seeing the production process was very educational. Markus made entire experience fun and enjoyable. I would recommend this small group wine tour and tasting to anyone visiting Zurich. The 1 hour train ride from Zurich to Landquart was easy and you get to see some of the pretty Switzerland landscape/mountains on the train ride.

These reviews are dead on accurate. Gian Carlo knows his wine, the process, the vintners, and his home town & region. We were a group of seven and he kept us entertained and informed for the entire tour. Highly recommend.
5Amazing Swiss Wine Tour.
I cannot recommend this enough! I'm a travel advisor and was with a group of 5...all of us are in the travel industry. Gian Carlo was so funny, knowledgeable, and outright fun. We sat to do our tasting and he got up, walked over to a tomato plant and picked several tomatoes for us to enjoy with our wine. Along with delicious Swiss cheeses, meats and bread...it was basically lunch! Highly recommended.

5A wonderful vineyard tour in the magical Swiss Alps
We enjoyed an informative tour of the vineyard surrounded by breathtaking views. Gian Carlo was knowledgeable and fun. The tasting took place on a patio that felt like it was from a story book with fruit trees, flowers, tomato plants and the sounds of nearby horses. It was a great and memorable experience.
5Amazing Wine Tasting Tour
What an interesting and fabulous tour. Our guide Gian Carlo was so knowledgeable and fun. He gave us an entire history about the vineyards and the region. He explained about the grapes varieties and the process of wine making. He explained and gave us the history of the villages around. Such an amazing tour. I highly recommend it.

About Chur
Chur is the capital of Graubünden in the Swiss Alps, among the oldest towns in Switzerland, with a car-free old centre and mountain railways.
Chur lies in the Rhine valley in eastern Switzerland, at the mouth of several Alpine valleys, and is the capital of Graubünden. People have lived here for several thousand years, and its car-free old town has cobbled lanes, painted fountains and a cathedral of the twelfth and thirteenth centuries, with a famous carved altar.
