The role of the instructor adapts to the experience and progress of the student, always encouraging his/her autonomy and stepping in to suggest, correct and criticise through a thorough analysis and continuous feedback. By providing a set of goals (each with specific content), students can better evaluate themselves, manage their challenges and expectations and, along with their instructor, learn, improve and thrive. About Portimão
Portimão is a river port and fishing town on the western Algarve, with sardine grills by the quay and the sandy bays and red cliffs of Praia da Rocha.
Portimão sits at the mouth of the Arade River, and its long history of fishing and fish canning shaped the town. The old cannery now houses the town's museum, which records that trade, and the riverfront quay has rows of grills where sardines are cooked in the open air. Across the water is Ferragudo, a village of white houses with the Santa Catarina fortress at the river mouth.
