  1. The guide will take the customers from our meeting point to the front of the Versailles Palace by bike. In here, the guide will give an overview of the Versailles Palace, talk about Louis XIV and the square where they're standing.

  2. The guide will take the customers by bike to the Versailles gardens. Here, they will face the beautiful garden facade of the palace and will discuss the gardens monuments, fountains, architecture and more of the inside of the Palace. The group will also cycle to the Ménagerie, the Lanterne (Présidence de la République) and the Grand Canal to learn about it's past and it's present.

About Versailles

Versailles, west of Paris, is the town built around the palace of Louis XIV, with its Hall of Mirrors and formal gardens.

The Palace of Versailles began as a hunting lodge of Louis XIII, and Louis XIV turned it into the seat of royal power, moving the court here in 1682. Its centrepiece is the Hall of Mirrors, seventy-three metres long, with seventeen mirrored arches facing the garden windows, where the Treaty of Versailles was signed in June 1919. The royal apartments, the Opera and the Chapel complete the palace.
