Experience Prague's summer vibe. Enjoy stunning city views and lively local spots while hearing fascinating stories from our history. Take a beer garden tour that will take you away from the crowded city center into Prague’s hidden magic gardens you otherwise wouldn’t find on your own. Discover places where you can hang out with locals and get a first-hand feel of what life in Prague has to offer. Included on this 5-hour guided tour is a 150-gram bacon cheeseburger made with organic beef ( vegetarian and vegan options are available), 6 beers/wine/cider, or a nonalcoholic drink. We travel by tram with your small group to five fantastic beer gardens around Prague.
We meet at the main entrance of the Palladium shopping center- in front of the Foot Locker sports shop. It is a very central place and easy to find.
We take a short- about 10 min. tram ride to our first destination.
Our first stop before we hit the beer gardens is an establishment known across Prague for its quality organic beef burgers. We have lunch here (vegetarian and vegan options are available) accompanied by refreshing beer/wine/cider/nonalcoholic drink.
5 min walk to our next establishment.
Following is the beer garden in the Academy of Fine Arts- Europe's most prestigious art faculty. We have a beer/cider/wine or nonalcoholic drink here.
10 min. walk to our next stop. As we walk through the neighborhood's side streets your guide will tell you some revealing stories of Nazi rule, communism, secret police, political prisoners, and heroes who gave their life for freedom.
Our second beer garden overlooks Prague with magnificent views. It is the very place where in 1989 a peaceful march started toward the city center. It was the final days of communism—the Velvet Revolution. We enjoy our beer/wine/cider or nonalcoholic drink here.
We walk to our next location
Our next stop is a local community beer garden. Very old school. It is right next door to the tennis courts where Martina Navrátilová was coached by her father in 1962. In 1975 she asked for political asylum in the USA. She was 18 years old. We have another refreshment here
Walk of aprox .10 min
We continue to the place where the largest statue of Joseph Stalin stood for 7 years. A stamp of oppression. Today a metronome stands there as a reminder that in time all things pass. Created in 1991. It is officially named The Time Machine. Above the plateau is a skatepark famous across Europe. In 1989 a Pirate radio station was set up in a nuclear bunker under where the statue used to stand. It was called Radio Stalin- 91.9 MHZ. In 1991 it got legitimacy and the broadcasting licence. It became Czech Radio 1.
Walk of approximately 5 min.

Prague's skyline of spires rises over the Vltava, with a hilltop castle, statue-lined bridge and a medieval old town that survived largely intact.
Prague Castle, one of the largest castle complexes anywhere, crowns the hill of Hradčany, with St Vitus Cathedral at its centre and the tiny houses of Golden Lane tucked behind. Below, the Lesser Town's Baroque palaces and terraced gardens lead down to the Charles Bridge, lined with statues of saints and busy from dawn.
Top-ranked sights in Prague: Charles Bridge (Karluv Most), Prague Castle (Pražský Hrad), Prague Old Town Square (Staromestské Námestí).
