About León
León is a colonial university city in north-west Nicaragua, with a vast whitewashed cathedral, rooftop views and a ring of volcanoes.
León lies in the Pacific lowlands of Nicaragua, about ninety kilometres north-west of Managua, with a chain of volcanoes on its horizon.
